Commercial renovation in Jan Juc, Torquay.

Working for Hutchinson Builders, Andrew, Sloan Built’s Managing Director, was a member of the management team that successfully completed the renovation of the Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) in Torquay. Andrew’s team assisted in the complete rebuild of an outdated facility that needed an update to better cater to the growing community.

Originally designed by AD Architecture, the Jan Juc SLSC was beautifully made with modern and resilient materials, properly complemented by a muted color scheme. The building takes advantage of the amazing views of the beach to the south and the RACV Golf Course to the north with its extensive glazing and spacious balcony all around.

The Jan Juc SLSC is a huge structure, able to host hundreds of members for club events and private functions, and with the renovation featuring a new kitchen and bar, among others, it will definitely make the club a popular hub in the summer months.
